The Tanzania Roads Agency (TANROADS) intends to sign 15 contracts for the construction of asphalt roads and bridges for 1.034 trillion shillings to boost infrastructure services in the country.

The Ministry of Water and Energy in collaboration with the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and UNDP Ethiopia has launched the Africa Minigrid Programme (AMP).

Kenya Power is in the final stages of launching a solar mini-grid project on Wasini Island, located in Mukwiro village within Kwale County in Kenya’s southern region.
The mini-grid has a solar plant capacity of 737kWp and includes a 70kVA diesel generator. It features 1,820 solar panels and 247 lead-acid batteries with a total capacity of 2276kWh and is expected to benefit 468 residents.
