Construction firms in Zimbabwe to trade with Tanzania

Construction firms in Zimbabwe should tap into the Tanzanian market to assist in boosting their economy, the export promotions body, ZimTrade has advised.

 
ZimTrade further stated that the construction industry in Tanzania, since 2002 has recorded tremendous growth as a result of increased infrastructure development, government support and significant diplomatic and commercial partnerships with the Chinese government and private sector companies.

Africa: 100 Solar Milling Plants to Be Operational Soon

 The Zambia Cooperative Federation (ZCF) has announced that the 100 solar milling plants under the Presidential Initiative will be operational by February 15 this year.

 
ZCF director general James Chirwa said in an interview that all the solar mills arrived in Zambia last month from China and the installation is currently ongoing in different parts of the country.

Tanzania plans to install 10,000 biogas plants by 2017

 Tanzania, along with the governments of Norway and the Netherlands, is planning to install 10,000 biogas plants by 2017

The biogas plants are environment-friendly and are expected to benefit a large number of rural communities in Tanzania. As part of the Tanzania Domestic Biogas Project (TDBP), aimed at benefiting rural communities in the country, these biogas plants will be designed, built and installed in various parts of Tanzania.

Phoenix Energy to construct mega solar power plant in Africa

 One of the leading Lebanese energy companies Phoenix Energy is now set to construct one of the largest solar power plant in Egypt after clinching a contract for the same.

Construction of major highway at Kenya’s Coast to begin

East African Pharmaceutical Signs U.S.$42 Million Agreement with UK Based Firm

 Addis Pharmaceutical Factory (APF) signed a 42 million dollar partnership agreement with 54 Capital Ltd., a UK-based asset management equity firm, which has investments in different countries in Africa.
