Sameer Africa to construct a stadium in Kenya

Sameer Africa Group is planning to construct a 26,000-seater stadium in Kenya that will encourage the development of sports in that region. The stadium will be constructed in Nandi County.

Sameer Africa which is owned by Naushad Merali signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Nandi County Governor Cleopas Langat on the construction of the stadium and the investment firm pledged to add more money to the infrastructural development of the county.

World Bank calls for diversification on infrastructure funding in East Africa

 The World Bank is now calling for diversification on infrastructure funding in Ethiopia in a bid to finance its  infrastructure projects to avoid heavy reliance on the state.

Bloomberg survey ranks Kenya sixth in green power generation

Kenya is now among top ten nations in regards to  green power generation, a report released by Bloomberg New Energy Finance shows.

The 2015 Climatescope Index ranks Kenya sixth out of 55 countries that are investing in wind, solar geothermal and other renewable power generation worth US$126bn of investments.

Nedbank and DBSA partner to construct green houses in Africa

Massey Ferguson to launch new tractors for Africa & Middle East

Massey Ferguson is introducing a new range of 50hp to 85hp tractors for select African and Middle East agricultural markets

Japan to invest in Construction of Mombasa’s port

 Work on the second phase of Mombasa port’s second container is scheduled to commence in early 2017
