Kenya is among countries set to benefit from €80 million ($94 million) funding from the European Union investment arm to increase geothermal power production.

Sudan has shown interest in purchasing up to 1000 MW of Electricity from Ethiopia, Africa, according to senior officials at Ethiopian Electric Power.

Kenya has constructed a new sanitation system in Narok Town, using improved technology that is anticipated to endure more than a century without regular repairs and breakages.
