22nd FOOD & KITCHEN TANZANIA IS BACK AT DAR ES SALAAM, TANZANIA THIS NOVEMBER

22nd FOOD & KITCHEN AFRICA is Tanzania's premier business event. The well renowned international trade event is to be hosted at the centrally located Diamond Jubilee Hall from the 7th to 9th November, 2019. A recent World Bank assessment summarizes that Tanzania has sustained relatively high economic growth over the last decade, averaging 6-7% a year. The country's overall population is about 55 million has made it a vital market in the East African region. The 2018/19 budget targets public investment to consume 45 percent of total spending, equivalent to 9.1 percent of GDP compared to 5.5 a year prior as the Government has prioritized efforts to improve industry and services, planned scale-up in multi-sector projects  and manage public resources for improved socio-economic outcomes.

The 22nd FOOD & KITCHEN 2019 has attracted a number of the industry’s biggest names including experts, stake-holders, directors and other high profile decision-makers that makes it the ideal entry-way into the African economy for interested investors, manufacturers and suppliers. FOOD & KITCHEN AFRICA 2017

The future of food, hospitality and agriculture in Africa will be a key theme throughout the 2017 installment of FOOD & KITCHEN AFRICA, which will run from 2 – 4 June, 2017 in Kenya, 10 – 12 August 2017 in Tanzania and 12 – 14 May 2017 in Ethiopia. More than 200 + exhibitors will showcase their latest innovations to thousands of buyers and decision makers, all looking to place orders on the industry’s newest products. Visitors will also be able to hear from experts who will offer business support, advice and debate during the three-day events.

Food, hospitality and agriculture is one of the most important sectors of the African economy and is expected to be the driving force behind the alleviation of the continent’s poverty. It accounts for 65% of the continent’s employment and 75% of its domestic trade.
