     Plans to construct nuclear power plants in Kenya are expected to see the country shift from geothermal and hydropower to nuclear power so as to ensure future security and growth; this is according to the Ministry of Energy.

  • KTDA boosts construction of hydro power plants in Kenya

     Kenya Tea Development Agency (KTDA)  has announced that it was constructing four hydro power plants in Kenya at a total cost of US$ 46m.

  • Firm Sets Up Africa\'s Largest Biogas Plant

     A Sh765 million biogas plant being set up in Naivasha will generate 2.2 megawatts of power when in operation.

  • Biogas plant in Africa boosts energy production a year after construction

     The constructed biogas plant in South Africa located in the Uilenkraal dairy farm in the Western Cape has broken the record by achieving a 1.5GWh electricity production this August just a year after it began operation.
