    Dodoma — Almost all senior officials of various ministries have shifted to Dodoma ahead of the deadline by President John Magufuli, the Daily News has learnt.

  • Tanzania: Sh74 Million Dam to Provide Villagers with Year-Round Water

    Tarime — Tanzania National Parks (TANAPA) has handed over a water dam built at Gibaso and Karakatonga villages in Tarime District. TANAPA Outreach Programme Manager Ahmed Mbugi handed over the project on Wednesday. "When it is full of water this dam can help residents of the two villages to enjoy water supply throughout the year," Mbugi said during the handing over ceremony.

    Arusha — In response to Prime Minister, Kassim Majaliwa's directives, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority has kicked off a project to build a large enclosed, man-made lake, to provide water for the Maasai and their cattle in the precinct.
