  • Kuwait Funds the construction of key road in Tanzania

     Tanzanian president Jakaya Kikwete has opened a ‘key road in Tanzania whose construction was sponsored by Kuwait government’s Fund for Arab Economic Development.

     
    During the opening ceremony of marking the main road in Tanzania Mr. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete expressed his gratitude to Kuwait for road infrastructure support.

  • Rwanda to Export Cement As New Plant Boost Production

    Rwanda's only cement manufacturer CIMERWA Ltd, yesterday, unveiled a new plant expected to increase production and boost export revenues.

  • East Africa\'s geothermal power generation to grow by 1000mw

     Ethiopia geothermal power generation is set to grow after the country signed a power purchase agreement with Berkley Energy which is a Kenyan linked company that will see 1,000MW of energy being generated.

     
    The signing was done by Azeb Asnake, CEO of Ethiopian Electric Power (EEP) and Edward Njoroge, one of the investors from Berkeley Energy.

     Caterpillar has introduced the new F2-series range of machines – 422F2, 428F2, 432F2, 434F2 and 444F2 for the Middle East and Africa markets

    Depending on the model, engine-power choices include 56.5 kW (76.8 hp), 68.5 kW (93hp), 70 kW (95 hp), or 74.5 kW (101 hp) configurations. There’s a marked improvement in hydraulic oil flow – 422F2 from 125 litres per minu. . .
