CHERANGANY MP Wesley Korir is to build an eight-lane 400m tartan track at Suwerwo village in his Trans Nzoia County.
The track will be built in collaboration withTranscend Talent and Sports Academy to incorporate sports and education for athletes.
"Our next action in 2015 is to build a tartan track where selected athletes to join the Academy will be training on," Korir said.
Korir affirmed the necessary finances are available and he was working together with Kenya-born Dutch lady Lornah Kiplagat to get the best quotations.
