AfDB loans Burundi US$29.49m for road improvement and asphalting project

The African Development Bank (AfDB) has approved a grant of US$29.49 m to Burundi to carry on with the Phase 1 of the Nyakararo-Mwaro-Gitega Road Improvement and Asphalting Project. This report was issued on Friday last week.
US$ 90m dual carriage road to be constructed in Eldoret, Kenya

Eldoret is set for an infrastructural change with construction of a US$ 90m dual carriage road. Members of the County Assembly in Uasin Gishu County approved the project, which is expected to commence as soon as the survey currently being done, is complete.

Rwanda is putting up a landmark conference centre as part of its plans to reap from conference tourism. Kigali Conference Centre, a dome-like construction being built mainly using steel, will have a seating capacity of 2,600.
