African Development Bank invests in Kenya Power\'s, Last Mile electricity project

Kenya has announced a second $150 million project to expand its electricity grid to connect another 1.5 million people, with the head of its sole power distributor saying the country was in talks with the African Development Bank to help finance it. Construction of Rusumo Falls Hydropower Project along Rwanda-Tanzania border to begin

Construction works of the 80MW Rusumo Falls hydropower project which is funded by the World Bank and the African Development Bank is set to begin next year.
