World Bank to fund Mombasa�s Sh2b water project

 Dry water taps are expected to start running again following the roll-out of an ambitious project to improve water infrastructure.

The Sh2 billion project funded by the World Bank is being implemented in phases beginning with sealing of water leakages in Nyali and Kisauni.

Construction of Sh850m data centre in Nairobi begins

 A group of Kenyan investors under the trade name Icolo.io is building a Sh850 million data centre in Nairobi. The construction commenced last month and is set to be completed by the end of 2017. The data centre will be situated on land leased from Catholic University of Eastern Africa, and will span 27,000 square feet.

The Government will spend an estimated Sh2.8 billion on a system that will give names to all roads, and assign numbers to all buildings and parcels of land.
