Kampala — Companies involved in construction and agro-processing have dominated this year's Top 100 Mid-sized company list, the findings of a survey by KPMG and Daily Monitor have revealed.

Nairobi — The National Construction Authority (NCA) has registered 18,000 contractors in different categories ranging from building, civil works and other specialised fields.

The construction of phase II of Mombasa port terminal in Kenya will start early 2017, Kenya Ports Authority managing director Gichiri Ndua has said. When complete, the second container terminal will provide and additional capacity of 470,000 and 550,000 TEUs.
